You are starting out as someone who seeks my help. Perhaps you have a knee problem that you would like to resolve. Maybe you want to feel better in your postpartum body. Or maybe you are a human being in a body that feels creaky and under-stimulated as if there are some elusive skills you would like to have. Or maybe you want to understand more about the workings of your beautiful body and how it can connect you to a more fulfilling life. 

We will start at that point, wherever it is. We will start, through conversation, making a thorough assessment of who you are, what has happened in the past, what motivates you, what helps you or hinders you, and ultimately, where you want to go. We start with solving whatever problem you present to me and through this conversation we peel back the layers to reveal what your deeper desires and drives in life are, in this one body you have. The problem was the tip of the iceberg and now we have more foundation about where it is you have been and want to go.

I will lead you through some exercises, visualizations, anatomy lessons, stretches, or meditations which, because of the conversations, are selected specifically to help YOU. As we go through the work we will continue dialogue around how things feel, what is working and what is not so that we can discover the perfect menu of movement, experience and information for your highest realization. I will help you figure out how this menu fits into your life in a way that feels nourishing rather than annoying.

As I teach you, I will celebrate your successes, no matter how small. This will help you see where you are going and that big things are possible through these small steps. 

As you take this information on as your own, I will keep reminding you that this is your experience and that all of these things on the menu are tools for your own body, your own life. I will help you rediscover the ability to sense your own body and it’s needs such that rather than always needing a class, a coach, a doctor or any other expert to tell you what you need, you will deeply know that YOU are the expert of this body, this life that you are living. Little by little you will gain the confidence and ability to sense your body in a way such that when you feel a stiffness, and ache or a pain you will be able to come back to the reference of your own internal workings rather than someone or something outside of you. 

This will give you the ability to just be with YOU and although you likely will find this menu of information and experience useful, it will be most useful because it brings you back to the inside of yourself. 

When you regain that deep internal sense, suddenly things that you couldn’t imagine before are possible. When you trust yourself you can gain strength, skill, flow and ease in every way possible. All of these qualities flow into all areas of life informing your entire world with the magic of truly living fully in your body.  

Your ability to receive the magic of the body is directly controlled by your ability to SEE the magic of the body. 

Your journey to health is fueled by a deep knowing that you have everything you need inside of you, and you can trust that. 

You will be reminded of the power and magic inherent in having a body.
